Consultation on Feb. 26 at 2pm at Cummings Centre regarding Montreal action plan for seniors

Our neighbours at the City of Montreal are developing its 2018–2020 municipal action plan for seniors and would like to receive comments on its objectives and proposed measures from residents and other concerned citizens.

There is a survey available for residents of the City of Montreal only, and a series of public consulations, including on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2pm at the Cummings Centre (5700 Westbury Ave, Montreal). Register online for the consultation at the Cummings Centre or call 514-343-3510.

Côte Saint-Luc encourages its residents to attend as many of the issues most affecting seniors relate to public transit, which is an Agglomeration of Montreal issue. (Côte Saint-Luc is one of the 16 cities that make up the Agglomeration of Montreal.) Côte Saint-Luc has been asking the Montreal transit authority to establish a shuttle bus service connecting the west end to the hospital district, which includes the Jewish General Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and the medical offices along Côte-des-Neiges Rd.

This forum provides another opportunity for seniors from all the west end communities to make this request

Representatives from Côte Saint-Luc will attend the consultation to listen to comments.
