Green patrollers to share info on ecological issues this summer

Homes, businesses, and institutions may receive a visit from Kim Alizadeh or Eden Schwartz from now until mid-August 2017. They are members of the Green Patrol, an island-wide program to provide information about ecological issues. Their main goal this summer will be to bring awareness to residents on good practices concerning waste management, greening (tree planting and gardening) and water conservation.

The green patrollers will not ask to enter the home. They will be wearing a green t-shirt and have proper identification.

The Green Patrol will also set up kiosks at municipal buildings, schools, apartment buildings, and townhouse developments.

For more information regarding the Green Patrol, contact Juliana Costa, Environmental Technician for the City of Côte Saint-Luc at 514-485-6868, ext. 3106 or jcosta@cotesaintluc.org.
