Watch for poison ivy at Shuster Park and Trudeau Park

There is poison ivy at Nathan Shuster Park and Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park. There are signs up inside the park in areas where poison ivy is known to be.

We spray a non-chemical natural product three times a year (in June July and August). The spray has greatly reduced the poison ivy at those parks, but parents need to help protect their young children by keeping them away from those areas. Older kids need to be warned by parents to look out for the bright signs posted by the city.
