Supervisor - Customer Service (Parks and Recreation Department)

The city of Côte Saint-Luc is a dynamic municipality on the island of Montreal with a population of approximately 33 000. The city prides itself on providing the highest level of services to its residents at a reasonable cost. The city is looking for a Supervisor - Customer Service  to join the Parks and Recreation Departement. 



Under the responsibility of a manager, you plan, organize and control the work of your team whose primary mission is to provide unparalleled customer service. In this role, you lead unionized employees at the Aquatic and Community Center who provide front-line service to the city's resident with regards to the different activities offered by of the Parks and Recreation Department.


Key responsibilities:

Treats the demands and complaints of the public and determines the appropriate actions to take

Ensures the quality of customer service to citizens and participates in the development of new strategies to provide even better service

Manages the Activitek data system

Prepares the work schedule of employees under his / her supervision

Acts as a resource person for the employees under his / her responsibility

Evaluates and trains the staff under his / her responsibility

Manages registrations and memberships to recreational activities

Responsible for the rental service

Replace and support Facilities Coordinator, when required

Ensures all department policies and procedures are followed

Ensures the application of the health and safety rules of the prevention program

Performs any other related task


Qualifications and education:

College diploma or equivalent

At least two years of relevant experience

Knowledge of Office Suite

Sense of diplomacy


Ability to work under pressure

Sense of organization

Priority management

Bilingual English / French, spoken and written


Salary and benefits: As per the management policies and procedures manual.



Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:30

The employee will also be required to work outside normal hours during special events or other activities necessary for the proper functioning of the department.
