Creating green space diversity and connectivity
For many, parks are pleasant and inclusive spaces, where folks can hang out, play games, have a picnic, and enjoy natural surroundings. What cities like Montreal are starting to realize is that green spaces and biodiversity are actually a public health issue.

About 50 residents from across the Island of Montreal joined Cote Saint-Luc Councillor Dida Berku and the Green Coalition’s David Fletcher for an educational stroll along the border of the Meadowbrook Golf Course as part of Jane's Walk, in an effort to continue the 22 year battle to protect the area and eventually turn it into an urban recreational area.
