DR. DAVID KAISER: Thank you, Mayor Brownstein. The vaccination campaign in Montreal is picking up speed. Soon anyone who wants to get vaccinated will be able to do so. For the moment, I strongly encourage anyone in the priority groups including anyone 45 years and older and people suffering from chronic diseases to take an appointment immediately. I want to remind everyone that all of the vaccines available in Quebec are safe and effective. Getting vaccinated means not only protecting yourself from COVID but also your friends, family and the whole community. As the weather warms up, we’re all anxious for things to get back to normal. We need to continue to be careful COVID is still with us. If we want to make the most of summer, though, we need to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible. Thank you.
