Take the guesswork out of sorting your waste

The City of Côte Saint-Luc has launched an app and web tool to help residents sort their waste.

The CSL Collecte app provides information about the City’s waste management collections and programs. It is available from the iTunes Store and Google Play. The web version is available at CoteSaintLuc.org/cslcollecte

The app includes three elements: a collection calendar, a what-goes-where search tool, and waste sorting game to test your knowledge. The app also sends alerts when curbside collection will be delayed to the next day on your street.

Quotations

“Residents want timely information on collection delays and this app gives us the ability to push out alerts to specific homes, streets, or neighbourhoods. It also reminds you when a special collection is coming up, like household hazardous waste day and the spring drop-off. I encourage residents to download the app and try it out today.”

– Mayor Mitchell Brownstein

“When a waste collection truck breaks down, it can cause a collection on some streets to be delayed, or even postponed to the next day. If your street is affected, and if you have the app installed, you will get an alert. The app allows us to send targeted information to the people who need it.”
