Lane reduction on Cavendish and Kildare from July 8 to July 17

A maximum of two lanes will be blocked at a time on Cavendish or Kildare. No complete closure of a direction will take place. Sidewalks will be blocked in certain phases and signage will be in place so people can cross before the work zone. Flagmen will be on site to help pedestrians cross the road. The traffic lights will remain on during the work and will not be flashing red at any time.

Cause of impact
The contractor must dig trenches along Kildare Rd. and Cavendish Blvd. to pass the conduit because directional excavation is not possible due to the existing underground services at the specified intersection. The added conduit will be for the Bell Fibre network.
