For the Côte Saint-Luc Local Commerce Committee, the Spotlight on Local Merchants for September 2023 is on Boulangerie Maxie’s at Quartier Cavendish.
Mark began working at Maxie’s in 1995. Seven years later he purchased the business. Over the past 21 years he has rarely taken a day off, working day and night seven days a week. Maxie’s sells fresh baked goods, bread, rolls, bagels, soups, salads, cold cuts, cookies, sandwiches and even some grocery items. In addition, Maxie’s can cater small affairs with sandwich plates and sides. Mark knows most of his clients on a first name basis and always has a smile on his face.
