The Côte Saint-Luc Local Commerce Committee is proud to shine the Spotlight on local merchants for March 2024 on Caldwell Provisions.
The neighbourhood grocery store, owned by George Sparagis, is located at the corner of Kildare Road and Caldwell Avenue. Besides the basic grocery essentials, the store is noted for its wide array of prepared meals, freshly cut fruit and vegetables and desserts. There are a number of trucks out on the road each day doing home deliveries. George is assisted by a reliable team of dedicated staffers who have become very familiar to clients over the years. During major Jewish holidays, notably Rosh Hashanah and Passover, he offers special takeout menus.
It was George’s father Bill who first opened Caldwell Provisions in 1978.
