The Côte Saint-Luc Local Commerce Committee is proud to shine the Spotlight on local merchants for October 2024 on Ralph’s Menswear at Quartier Cavendish.
Gino Scandale opened Ralph’s, a men’s clothing store, in 1973 and it remains the last original store still in business since the Mall was built. “It was unbelievable,” he said of what the mall was like back then. “You couldn’t rent an inch of space. Stores were lined up. This was really considered the first really high-end shopping mall. Birks was here. All the really high-end stores from that era were all here.”
Ralph’s is known for its elegant suits, comfy modern clothes with his sportswear being the bestseller. This is more than just a shopping destination; it’s a place to connect and build relationships. Gino is proud to have fostered a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
