Due to the extreme heat expected on the Fête Nationale statutory holiday of Tuesday, June 24, the City of Côte Saint-Luc is opening the following indoor spaces to help residents cool down:
- Aquatic and Community Centre (5794 Parkhaven Ave.) Indoor pools and atrium open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Eleanor London Public Library (5851 Cavendish Blvd.) Open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visitors may use tables and chairs and check out books. Other services may not be offered or may be available on a limited basis.
We encourage residents to stay cool at home. If you do not have air conditioning or fans, you can also visit one of the City’s splash pads:
- Fyon Park (access via Wildwood, Sunrise, or Edgemore avenues)
- Kirwan Park and Allan J. Levine Playground (Mackle Rd.)
- Henry Marcovitz Playground / McDowell Park (access via Borden or Randall)
- Rembrandt Park (Rembrandt Ave.)
- Richard Schwartz Park (Côte Saint-Luc Rd., between Westluke and Smart)
- Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park (6975 Mackle Rd.)
Or cool off at the Parkhaven Outdoor Pool (7500 Mackle Road) or the wading pool at Yitzhak Rabin Park (Hudson/Kildare, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
