Côte Saint-Luc marks the Quebec Week for People with Disabilities

The Quebec Week for People with Disabilities is being held from June 1 to 7, 2025. During this week, the City of Côte Saint-Luc reaffirms its ongoing commitment to making our facilities, services, and programs accessible and inclusive for all.

Here are some of the actions completed in the past year:

  • Designed and implemented a streamlined flagging system for first responders to assist individuals with loss of autonomy or disabilities
  • Introduced adapted programs in yoga, music, art, and karate for children with disabilities
  • Launched an in-home tech help service for residents with limited mobility
  • Created memory kits for caregivers of people with dementia
  • Added preloaded audiobooks (Playaway) and dyslexia-friendly readers to the Library collection
  • Installed two acoustic study pods to help teens and adults with sensory sensitivities
  • Installed accessible bathrooms at Mitchell Brownstein Park
