While many people enjoy air conditioning at home, others do not. Therefore we are inviting the public to stay cool at local indoor malls, as well as our air conditioned municipal buildings.
CSL Public Library
Open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 9pm
Aquatic and Community Centre
Monday and Tuesday: 6 am to 10 pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 6 am to 9 pm

Parkhaven Outdoor Pool
The pool will have extended hours for Monday, Aug. 11 and Tuesday, Aug. 12, it will be open from noon to 9pm

Splash pads at city parks
You can cool down for free at any of the city’s six splash pads
- Fyon Park (access by Wildwood, Sunrise or Edgemore avenues)
- Kirwan park and Allan J. Levine playground (Mackle Road)
- Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park (near the corner of Stephen Leacock and Ashkelon)
- Henry Marcovitz Playground / McDowell Park (access by Borden or Randall)
- Rembrandt Park (Rembrandt Ave.)
- Richard Schwartz Park (on Côte Saint Luc Rd., between Westluke and Smart)
