Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) will be conducting vegetation control along the railway tracks that run through our community as part of their annual maintenance program.
Work will take place between May 5 and September 30, 2025 (for track ballast areas) and possibly between June 1 and December 1, 2025 (for brush control), using federally approved herbicides applied in accordance with all safety and environmental regulations.
This work is essential to maintain safe train operations. Residents living near the railway may notice crews and equipment along the tracks during this period. Please be reminded that railway corridors are private and dangerous areas—do not enter for any reason.
