Moving? Here’s how to dispose of your bulky waste

  • Bulky waste is collected every second Friday (June 6 and 20, July 4 and 18, August 1st, 15 and 29, for more dates see CoteSaintLuc.org/WasteSchedule)
You can place your items on the curb as early as noon on Thursday but no later than 7am on Friday morning. Each home is allowed five bulky items every two weeks.

  • We accept items such as tables, washing machines, cabinets, bed frames, and wood planks. Remember to remove nails and residual metal from wood planks and ensure they do not exceed 1.2 meters in length.

  • Upholstered items such as mattresses and couches are not collected with bulky waste. They must be placed alongside your black bin.

  • Tires, asphalt, tiles, fences and any other construction waste are not part of the bulky waste collection.
You can take these items, and any other items not collected, to an eco-centre. To find the closest eco-centre: www.montreal.ca/en/topics/ecocentres
