Fleet roadwork will affect traffic from July 14 to the end of August

This post is archived and may contain outdated information.

The City will perform sidewalk repair, road resurfacing, and conduit upgrade on westbound Fleet Road (ie, entering Côte Saint-Luc) from Monday, July 14 to the end of August. Here is how the work will affect traffic:

  1. Week of July 14: Sidewalk work begins on Fleet Rd. One lane closed. North-side sidewalk closed to pedestrians.
  2. Week of August 4, onward: Resurfacing work and median conduit work begins on Fleet Rd. Two lanes closed. Therefore, one lane of westbound traffic will be diverted to eastbound Fleet Rd. North-side sidewalk closed to pedestrians.

Some westbound bus stops on Fleet Rd. will be unavailable during the work. Please give yourself extra time if you normally use those stops.

To help reduce time in traffic, we recommend that motorists find alternate routes and consider using navigation apps (eg, Waze, Google Maps) to find the quickest route to your destination.
