Sign the Cavendish Extension Petition

It’s time to take action in large numbers. We ask you to sign the petition, registered with the National Assembly, asking the Government of Quebec to take its responsibilities seriously and to ensure that Montreal put Cavendish back on track according to the Hippodrome agreement signed in 2017. That agreement is clear. The Quebec government gave the City of Montreal a property worth more than $ 50 M on condition that the City of Montreal proceed with the Cavendish extension project. So now, we the citizens of Montreal, are asking that before there is any further government funding to develop the Hippodrome site, that the City of Montreal respect the schedule they set out in 2022 for the Cavendish project and put it back in their Capital works budget.

See the link for the Petition here.

We also ask that you share the link to the petition with as many people as possible in order to collect a record number of signatures and thus send a strong and clear message to the government and the City of Montreal that the Cavendish project is in the public interest and must proceed as quickly as possible. We can’t wait any longer. We also thank our MNA Elisabeth Prass for sponsoring the petition before the National Assembly
