We’ve changed our emergency alert provider — please take 5 minutes to confirm your information

The City of Côte Saint-Luc has switched to a new service provider for our emergency alert system. If your phone number is already in our system, you will continue to receive alerts by phone as usual.

However, we are asking all residents to take 5 minutes to sign in to their new emergency alert account and confirm that their contact information is accurate.

To get started, visit cotesaintluc.org/alerts. There’s a short video on the page that walks you through the process step by step.

In brief, here’s what to do:

  1. Click Forgot password
  2. Enter the phone number where you’ve previously received emergency alerts
  3. Choose to have the system call you or send you a text message with your new password
  4. Sign in using that password

Once signed in, you can:

  • Delete old phone numbers
  • Add new numbers (including a mobile or SMS text number)
  • Add an email address
  • Update your language preference for telephone alerts

Alternatively, the next time you receive an alert call, you can press 2 to hear the message in English. This will also update your language preference for future calls.

If you’ve never received an emergency alert from the City by phone, your number is likely not in our system. In that case, please create a new account and add your contact details.

Please take a few minutes today to ensure your information is up to date.
It’s a quick step that helps us reach you quickly and keep you and your family safe during emergencies.
