Second Draft Resolution 260233 for a Specific Construction, Alteration, or Occupancy Proposal for an Immovable (SCAOPI) – Authorization for Childcare Services at 5750 Hudson Avenue

On February 16, 2026, the Côte Saint-Luc City Council adopted Second Draft Resolution 260233 for a Specific Construction, Alteration, or Occupancy Proposal for an Immovable (SCAOPI/PPCMOI) concerning lot 1 052 573, located at 5750 Hudson Avenue.

Goal

The purpose of the resolution is to authorize a retail use, specifically childcare services in a nursery, day-care facility, or kindergarten, on the property located in the RU-42 zone. The authorization permits derogation from the provisions relating to uses set out in the Table of Uses and Norms for zone RU-42 in zoning by-law No. 2217. The resolution also permits the conversion of indoor parking space to another use.

The project is subject to By-law No. 2630 on Specific Construction, Alteration, or Occupancy Proposals for Immovables (SCAOPI). The Planning Advisory Committee examined the project according to the evaluation criteria set out in By-law No. 2630 and recommended that Council approve the project as presented.
