Minor exemption

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Undersigned, Assistant City Clerk of the City of Côte Saint-Luc, that at a Regular Meeting of the City Council to be held on September 9, 2024, at 8:00 P.M., at 5801 Cavendish Boulevard, the Côte Saint-Luc City Council will adjudicate upon the requests for minor exemptions, said requests being more fully described hereunder:

  • 5819 Wolseley, Lot 6 451 212, Zone RU-42

The request is:

  • To allow the existing Detached Single-Family Dwelling to maintain its existing West Lateral Setback at a minimum of 1.93m instead of the minimum required Lateral Setback of 1.98m.
  • To allow the construction of a rear extension with a minimum rear setback of 5.0m instead of the minimum required rear setback of 6.17m, and with a minimum East Lateral Setback of 1.85m instead of the minimum required Lateral Setback of 1.98m.

The whole notwithstanding the provisions of Zoning By-law no. 2217, Annex “B” (zone RU-42), Article 4-4-2 and Article 4-4-3.

  • 7485 Pineview, Lot 1 054 287, Zone RU-27

The request is:

  • To allow the existing Detached Single-Family Dwelling:
    • To maintain its existing Front Setback at a minimum of 4.54m instead of the minimum required Front Setback of 4.57m.
    • To maintain the existing rear balcony at a minimum distance of 2.95m from the rear Land Line instead of the minimum required distance of 3.05m and with an encroachment into the minimum rear setback of 3.2m instead of the maximum permitted encroachment of 3.05m.
  • To allow the construction of a rear extension with a minimum rear setback of 3.5m instead of the minimum required rear setback of 6.1m.

The whole notwithstanding the provisions of Zoning By-law no. 2217, Annex “B” (zone RU-27), Article 4-2-2 Table 1, Article 4-4-1, Article 4-4-3, and Article 4-4-5 a).
