Please note that the City of C\u00f4te Saint-Luc must receive a written notice within 15 days following the incident for any material damages, failing which the City of C\u00f4te Saint-Luc will not be liable for any damages, as per section 585 of the Cities and Towns Act<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n In the event that you feel the City has damaged your private property, please:<\/p>\n\n Send an email or a letter explaining the incident with all evidence to claims@cotesaintluc.org<\/a> or to City Clerk, City Hall, 5801 Cavendish Blvd., C\u00f4te Saint-Luc, Quebec, H4W 3C3.<\/p>\n\n The City reserves its rights to refuse any claim for damages to private property located within the City right-of-way or close to the City sidewalk based on the following provisions of the City\u2019s zoning by-law 2217<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n The presence of any construction in the City right-of-way, including basketball hoops, is prohibited (By-law 2217, section 4-5<\/a>). As such, no compensation can be offered for any damages resulting from City operations.<\/p>\n\n\n
