** April 28: Enhancing Social Connections After a Dementia Diagnosis with Dr. Darla Fortune
Dr. Darla Fortune is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at Concordia University. In her research Darla aims to broaden perspectives of inclusion and work toward enhancing experiences of belonging, particularly for individuals at risk of exclusion. In this talk Darla will discuss strategies for navigating social changes, maintaining friendships and enhancing social connections after a diagnosis of dementia
