These are lectures tailored to family caregivers, delivering practical information to improve their daily lives while enhancing their understanding of dementia.
** 26 March : A Mindful Approach to Caregiver Wellness with Angela Potes
In this talk, Angela Potes will describe mindfulness and self-compassion, providing tips to reduce caregiver stress and fostering well-being. Experiential exercises will be included in the lecture.
Angela Potes has a background in mental health clinical research with a focus on geriatric psychiatry. She is also a certified mindfulness facilitator and studied the use of mindfulness and self-compassion training.
