The Côte Saint-Luc Library is proud to collaborate as a host for this engaging monthly lecture series featuring guest speakers discussing specialised and relevant topics related to dementia and presented by Alzheimer’s Group Incorporated (AGI). These are lectures tailored to family caregivers, delivering practical information to improve their daily lives while enhancing their understanding of dementia.
**May 13: Strengthening Caregivers’ Well-being: Relationships and Personal life with Jessica Smith
Guest speaker Jessica Smith will help you, as caregivers, identify sources of stress, recognize signs of caregiver strain, and provide strategies to strengthen well-being in your relationships, in your personal life and with yourself. Ms. Smith holds a Masters degree in Social Work with a specialization in couple and family therapy,is the Coordinator of Caregiving Support with the YWCA, Montreal, and has trained at the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic in the department of psychiatry at the Jewish General Hospital.
