Summer Student – Communications

Workplace: 5801 boul. Cavendish, City of Côte Saint-Luc. Parking is free.

Schedule: 30 hours/week for 9 weeks starting June 1st, 2022.

Salary: $18/hour

Profile required for this position

  • Be a full-time student in Communication or in Community Outreach
  • Good knowledge in office related software
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written

Your role at the City

As a city employee, you will make a real difference in providing excellent service to the citizens of Côte Saint-Luc. The student will report to the Director of Public Affairs and Communications.

  • Updating the databases of local commerce in the City of Côte Saint-Luc
  • Validate the phone number, email address, and contact information of each business listed – or add to the database if information is missing
  • Track down information in creative ways such as using public databases such as phone listings, corporate databases, and general Google searches
  • Visit local commerce door-to-door to reach local commerce that was unreachable by other means
