The City of Côte Saint-Luc is a dynamic municipality on the island of Montreal with a population of approximately 35 000. The City prides itself on providing the highest level of services to its residents at a reasonable cost.  We are currently looking to hire a temporary mechanic for the Public Works Department. 

Role: The temporary mechanic (motorized equipment) will do Work that involves the verification, maintenance, adjustment and repair of the mechanical parts and accessories of motorized equipment. 

Qualifications and education: Good knowledge of French and English, written and spoken; of techniques, practices and tools used in the exercise of his trade; of the construction and operation of motorized equipment; valid provincial driver’s license, class 3; PEP certification; OHS card on construction sites (APSAM or ASP); light and heavy vehicle mechanics. 

Salary and benefits: $35.31/hour 

Schedule: 38 hours/week
