The Recreation department is constantly evolving and adding new services and installations throughout the city for CSL residents to enjoy!

Gary Carter field in Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park and Wagar Field cross country skiing will be offered from December 19 2022 to March 17 2023. Weather Permitting

For the second year in a row the city is now offering groomed cross-country ski trails. This has been a vision of the Recreation department and we are very happy to be able to get off the ground once again this winter season.

This year the city will be offering two sets of trails, they will be open from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week.
  • Pierre Elliott Trudeau Park - Gary Carter Field (approximately 300 meters)
  • Wagar Field (approximately 600 meters)
Each trail will be groomed 3x/week starting December 19 2022 until March 17 2023

There is also a walking path alongside the ski trail that can be used for walking or snowshoeing.

The trail is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm depending on weather conditions.
