Library pulls strings to entertain kids

Côte Saint-Luc, October 7, 2010 – The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library will be hosting the Panadream Marionette Theatre on Sunday, October 17 at 2pm.

Six string marionettes with be acting out the story of a fearful young boy named Yorgo. He has never left his house, but instead spends his time with Buttons, his adorable dog. When Buttons goes missing, Yorgo braves his fears, and fueled by love and courage, he goes out to find his missing pet.

This drama unfolds on an elaborate set that includes three moving stages on wheels and no fewer than 15 backdrops. Two expert puppeteers from Panadream bring this touching story to life.

Tickets are $5 each. As space is limited for this program, it is recommended to buy tickets in advance at the main desk of the library. The play is suitable for children age 2 and older.

The Eleanor London Côte Saint-Luc Public Library is located at 5851 Cavendish Blvd. and is open from 10am to 10pm every day.
