PUBLIC NOTICE
BY-LAW NO. 2593
Object: Coming into force of By-law No. 2593
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Undersigned, Me Jason Prévost, Assistant City Clerk, that the Côte Saint-Luc City Council adopted, at its Regular Meeting held on February 14, 2022, By-law No. 2593 entitled: “Construction by-law”.
The object of By-law 2593 is to update the City of Côte Saint-Luc’s construction by-law and it notably includes the following amendments:
- An update to include a reference to the current National Building Code;
- The addition of a new provision (Section 3.2) regarding sustainable construction techniques;
- The addition of a new provision (Section 3.4) requiring carbon monoxide detectors and a three stream waste chutes in new multifamily constructions; and
- An update of the building permit application requirements (Section 5.1);
By-law 2593 is available for consultation at the City Hall, located at 5801 Cavendish Boulevard, during regular office hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m or by submitting a request by email to the undersigned.
This by-law comes into force according to law.
