Virtual public meeting

The Commission sur le développement social et la diversité montréalaise and the Commission de la sécurité publique (hereafter the “joint standing committee”) invite you to attend a public meeting during which the Ville de Montréal will present a progress report on its work to fight systemic racism and systemic discrimination.

The presentation, by the City’s Bureau de la commissaire à la lutte au racisme et aux discriminations systémiques and several municipal departments, will be followed by periods of questions and comments from the public and the joint standing committee members

Presentation of the report on 2021 achievements and commitments for 2022

During the public meeting, the Bureau de la commissaire à la lutte au racisme et aux discriminations systémiques, along with several municipal departments, will present a progress report on the Ville de Montréal’s achievements to fight systemic racism and systemic discrimination, as well as its commitments for the year 2022

The joint standing committee informs interested parties that this public meeting will be held on:

By videoconference

The public session will be livestreamed and accessible on the dedicated web page of the standing committees’ website.

Questions and comments period

Following the presentation, there will be periods of questions and comments from the public and the joint standing committee’s members, all of which will be answered by the City representatives

Those interested in sharing a question or a comment are invited to submit it, before Monday, March 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., via the online form available at ville.montreal.qc.ca/racismesystemiquereddition.
