You can report excessive noise, or noise within the below-mentioned periods to Public Security at 514-485-6960.

Noise

Noise is prohibited between 11 pm and 7 am on week days and 11 pm and 9 am on weekends and statutory holidays;

Excessive noise

Excessive noise (loud party or music, for example) disturbing the peace and tranquility of the neighbourhood is prohibited at all times.

Construction

Unless permission was granted under special circumstances, it is prohibited:

To carry out exterior construction work (including excavation):
- between 7 pm and 7 am on week days (Mon-Fri);
- on weekends and statutory holidays.
To carry out all other construction work:
- between 7 pm and 7 am on week days (Mon-Fri);
- between 7 pm and 9 am on weekends and statutory holidays.

Messy yard

To report accumulating dead trees, branches, long grass and weeds, waste, scrap metal, mounds of earth or any object on a private yard that may pose a safety hazard, please contact Public Security at 514-485-6960.
