The Aquatic and Community Centre (ACC) is home to two swimming pools, a fitness room, art and dance studios, a game room, a café, a banquet and conference hall, and much more.


Beginning Monday, July 6, the Aquatic and Community Centre pools will reopen to Côte Saint-Luc residents with proof of residency and picture ID for adults.
  • Lap swim is  by reservation only (45-minute block).
  • Open swim at the recreation pool is available on a first-come, first-served basis (45-minute block).
Reservations for lap swim may be made up to one week prior, one booking per day, to a maximum of 3 times per week. Please see Swimming pools below for more information.

ACC Building Access

Patrons must enter and exit the building via the 5794 Parkhaven main entrance. Patrons will be asked health questions and must wash their hands.

Face coverings

A face coverage must be worn at all times while inside the ACC or any municipal building. This includes the pool deck. Patrons without a face covering will not be permitted to enter the ACC. If a patron doesn’t wear their face covering throughout the visit to the ACC, they risk not being permitted back inside in the future. All patrons are responsible for respecting the 2-metre physical distancing guideline.


Washrooms and locker rooms will be available for those using the ACC.

ACC Front Desk

Beginning Monday, July 6 the ACC front desk it will be open from 11 am to 6 pm.

The Aquatic and Community Centre has two swimming pools. The Recreation Pool has a beach area for toddlers to play with fun water games, areas for lap swimming and aquasizes, a slide and a ramp for swimmers with disabilities. The Competition Pool is a 10-lane 25-metre pool with electronic scoring capabilities offering the latest advancements in competitive pool technologies.

The pools are free to use for Côte Saint-Luc residents with proof of residency and picture ID for adults.


ACC Competition Pool

Lane reservations can be made online at with an active Parks and Recreation account, or by calling 514-485-6806 ext 2200.


  • One swimmer per lane, unless sharing a lane with another swimmer from the same household.
  • Swimmers are required to bring their own equipment as none will be provided.
  • Swimmers must shower before entering the swimming pool.

Time blocks:

  • 12pm – 12:45pm
  • 1pm – 1:45pm
  • 2pm – 4:45am
  • 3pm – 3:45pm
  • 4pm – 4:45pm
  • 5pm – 5:45pm

ACC Recreation Pool

A maximum of 11 people can be using the recreation pool/beach area at one time. These blocks are on a first-come, first-served basis. No floatation equipment or toys will be provided.

Time blocks:

  • 12pm – 12:45pm
  • 1pm – 1:45pm
  • 2pm – 4:45am
  • 3pm – 3:45pm
  • 4pm – 4:45pm
  • 5pm – 5:45pm

Swimming pool rules

The following are not permitted within the pool or pool area:

  1. Eating, smoking, glass containers and alcoholic beverages.
  2. Pushing, shoving and/or rough play.
  3. Shoes and strollers.
  4. Water wing flotations.
  5. Diving in the shallow end.
  6. Verbal or physical aggression of any kind towards fellow patrons or staff.
  7. Hanging on the lane ropes.

Guidelines & Regulations:

  1. Children 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by a guardian to enter the facility. A guardian must be at least 15 years old. Guardians are
    responsible for their children at all times.
  2. Children 8 years old and younger must be within arm’s reach of their guardian at all times.
  3. Children 7 or 8 years old may be exempt from rule #2 if they can pass the swim proficiency test administered by a lifeguard.
  4. Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers in the pool.
  5. Showers are recommended before entering the pool.
  6. Please walk around the pool and pool area.
  7. Only certified personal flotation devices may be used if approved by a lifeguard.
  8. Please return equipment to storage bins after use.
  9. Water guns, balls or toys are not permitted unless approved by a lifeguard.
  10. Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied up.
  11. Private swim lessons may only be conducted by personnel approved by the City.
  12. Specialized equipment and training must be approved by a lifeguard.
  13. The City is not responsible for injuries, damages or the loss of articles caused by or arising from participation in any program or facility sponsored by the City.
  14. Failure to respect the pool rules, the staff and City policies may result in being removed from the Facility. If necessary, may result in being refused re-admission to the Facility.

Recreation pool and beach area:

  1. Floating mats are not permitted in the beach area and can only be used at the approval of the lifeguard on duty within the Recreation Pool.

Slide Rules:

  1. Patrons must remain seated and facing forward.
  2. Patrons must wait at the bottom of the stairs until the patron ahead of them exits the pool.
  3. After your turn, swim directly to the ladder.

Competition pool:

  1. Lap lanes are reserved for lap swimmers. Swimmers must swim continuously.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fitness room is closed.

The fitness room has 10 cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair climbers, and recumbent cycles, each equipped with a TV monitor, contact heart rate and polar heart rate telemetry. The fitness room also has a three-station variable weight stack multi-gym.


The fitness room is only accessible to Fun Card holders (15 years and older). Access is free.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Game Room and Atrium are closed for the summer.

Atrium Games

A foosball table (all ages) and pool table (16 yrs +) are available to play in the ACC Atrium.

Simply present a valid identification at the Reception desk to borrow the supplies.

Game Room

The Game Room is equipped with a pool table, a ping pong table, an air hockey table, foosball table, colouring and boardgame corner, a large screen TV, a Pac Man arcade game and four gaming consoles.

It is accessible to members of the Teen Zone and for Family Games.

Pool birthday parties

Make your child’s birthday party a splash! Enjoy our youth oriented recreation pool for your next birthday party.

Pool time for parties occurs during open swim periods, according to the schedule.


$130 plus taxes for the recreation pool $250 plus taxes for the competition pool

If additional lifeguards are required for the party, the cost is $20 per lifeguard per hour, plus taxes.

The party room is $55/hour plus taxes and includes use of the gymnasium kitchen, and tables and chairs only.
