The City of Côte Saint-Luc is selling ribbons to support humanitarian relief for Ukrainians. A donation of $2 or more is suggested. The ribbons are available at the Côte Saint-Luc Public Library (5851 Cavendish Blvd.). All donations will be given to the Canadian Red Cross and Federation CJA funds in support of Ukrainian relief.
Please note that as of Friday, May 6, we are no longer accepting donations of items. However, we are still making ribbons and accepting monetary donations.
A donation box is also available at the library to deposit the following items, which will be transferred to St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church.
- Thermal underwear
- Warm socks
- Clothes for babies and children
- Sleeping bags (can be used but clean)
- Flashlights
- Also requesting bandages, hemostatic bandages and dressings, analgesics, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant alcohol.
