As Valentine’s Day approaches, Côte Saint-Luc’s Merchant of the Month is a matchmaker– a financial matchmaker, so to speak. Jason Zuckerman, Real Estate Mortgage Broker with Orbis Mortgage Group, works as an intermediary to help pair up borrowers and lenders. Zuckerman works with a variety of banks to find homeowners the right loan product and guides his clients throughout the mortgage process, from pre-approval to closing. “I come from a psychology background, so I believe it is important to listen to people’s individual situation,” said Zuckerman. “Everyone’s story is different, and I like to get as much information as possible so that I can better help them.” Zuckerman further explained the advantage of working with a broker enables clients to choose from a wider array of products in a streamlined one-stop shop.
