On Monday, May 17, 2021, at approximately 6:35pm, Montreal police (SPVM) responded to reports that two men in a car were making verbal threats aimed at the Jewish community. The men were arrested by police in the area of Kildare and Westminster. The SPVM and the Côte Saint-Luc Public Security have increased their resources and are making their presence felt around all community locations.
