Minor exemptions

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given by the Undersigned, Assistant City Clerk of the City of Côte Saint-Luc, that at a Regular Meeting of the City Council to be held on January 16, 2023, at 8:00 P.M., at 5801 Cavendish Boulevard, the Côte Saint-Luc City Council will adjudicate upon requests for minor exemptions, said requests being more fully described hereunder:

  • 5621 Blossom, Lot 1 052 097, Zone RU-16

The request is to allow the existing Semi-Detached Single-Family Dwelling, built in 1963 under permit no. 1963-02034, to maintain its current East lateral setback at a minimum distance of 1.95m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m.

The whole notwithstanding the provisions of Zoning By-law no. 2217, Annex “B” (Zone RU-16), and Article 4-4-2.

  • 5518 Westbourne, Lot 1 561 701, Zone RU-7

The request is:

  • To allow the existing Detached Single-Family Dwelling to maintain its current East lateral setback at a minimum distance of 1.72m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m;
  • To allow the construction of a one-storey rear extension along the existing East lateral setback at a minimum distance of 1.72m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m; and
  • To allow the construction of a lateral extension and a second storey addition above the existing garage with a minimum West lateral setback of 1.5m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m.

The whole notwithstanding the provisions of Zoning By-law no. 2217, Annex “B” (zone RU-7), and Article 4-4-2.

  • 5696 Einstein, Lot 1 561 866, Zone RU-32

The request is:

  • To allow the existing Detached Single-Family Dwelling to maintain its current East lateral setback at a minimum of 1.93m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m;
  • To allow the construction of:
    • a two-storey rear extension along the existing East lateral setback at a minimum distance of 1.93m instead of the minimum required lateral setback of 1.98m; and
    • a balcony located at a minimum distance of 1.93m from the East lateral Land Line instead of the minimum required distance of 2.0m from the lateral Land Line.

 The whole notwithstanding the provisions of Zoning By-law no. 2217, Annex “B” (zone RU-32), Article 4-4-2, Article 4-4-3 and Article 4-4-5 a).

above-mentioned Regular Meeting.
