The Côte Saint-Luc Local Commerce Committee is proud to shine the Spotlight on local merchants for June 2024 on Pâtisserie Adar located at 5634 Westminster Avenue.
The owner, Mordechai Cohen, first opened his store in 1996. Adar offers its customers a large variety of kosher products: freshly baked goods, pastry items, a big assortment of take-out food as well as grocery items, fruits and vegetables. “Whether it is breakfast, lunch or supper, there is something for everyone,” says Mordechai
Originally the store was located further down the street at the strip mall bordering Montreal West. They relocated to their current premises around 2007.
What are some of the house favorites? Mordechai points to the almond croissant, grilled chicken, bourekas, spicy tuna sandwich, Moroccan fish, spicy filet of sole and lemon meringue pie.
